The power of plants
The plant
A legume that fixes its own nitrogen and, unusually for a bean, gives both a useful protein and a useful oil. For skincare the protein is broken down — hydrolysed — into fragments small enough to be of use on the surface of skin, while the pressed oil is a light, linoleic-rich lipid.

Skincare benefits
What it does
The hydrolysed protein is used for its conditioning feel on skin; the oil adds a light, non-occlusive lipid to a body formula.
Responsible sourcing
Where it comes from
The soya bean oil in the body lotion is certified organic. The hydrolysed protein is a botanical-source extract and is not certified organic.
