The power of plants
The plant
Australia's only native food crop grown commercially at scale, and a rainforest tree before it was ever an orchard one. Its shell is famously hard. Its oil is notable for palmitoleic acid — an omega-7 that is abundant in young human sebum and uncommon in the plant world, which is the reason macadamia oil feels the way it does on skin rather than on paper.
